The Junior Activities Club (Nippers) are a training ground for future lifesavers and enjoy activities all aimed at building lifesaving and leadership skills in a fun environment. Membership is open to all children aged from 7 – 13 (aged taken as at the 30th of September each season).

Each Sunday during the nipper season, parents and helpers assist with beach and water activities targeting each age group which leads to Surf certificates and awards for the children.

Competition is available to all age groups with competition both locally and around the State. Some children may be selected to compete in a State team against other nippers from around the country.

Sign on for Nippers occurs in August/September each year with the season running from September to March each year.
