Mooloolaba Surf Life Saving Club has a comprehensive Cadet Program caters for members between the age of 13 and 17 years. The Cadet Officer for the 2017/18 season is Jared Pailthorpe, Jared is an accomplished swimmer, swim coach and PT who loves encouraging kids to reach their full potential.
A fun new program for U14-U17s Lifesavers
This new program is tailored specifically to 13 to 17 year olds who will continue with their usual Sunday morning training program in addition to taking on extra courses and partaking in team building excursions away from the beach.
The Under 14 age group will continue with their normal Nipper routine, however they are also welcome to join the cadet program. Cadets will also have the opportunity to try new competitions including Champion Lifesaver, First Aid and R&R.
The Program will be run every Sunday morning from 8am to 10.30am as per normal Nippers, unless cadets are involved in a course or an excursion. The cost involved includes $35 to become a member of Mooloolaba SLSC and $100 for the Mooloolaba Cadet Program.
The course includes the following elements and an introductory morning will be held in September for the cadets to learn more information on the program and proficiency.
